Cymbeline is set in the near mythic realm of Ancient Britain. Follow Imogen in her flight, prepare for the invasion of Rome and hope that true love and justice will prevail in this magical tale.

Cymbeline, by William Shakespeare will be performed in Timber Lane Park (2615 Ciderwood Dr, Spring TX 77373). Performances are FREE to the public. Just bring your lawn chairs or picnic blankets (even a whole picnic!) and enjoy some top notch storytelling in a beautiful park.

Performances Saturdays and Sundays at 2pm, April 6, 7, 13, 14, 20 & 21

About Us

Founding Artistic Director

Amy K Barnes toured internationally with Ballet Excelsior of Houston, performing in Australia, Russia, Poland, Bulgaria and Greece as well as cities in America including LA and New York.

After touring she attended SHSU where she studied musical theater. Since then she has pursued a career performing, directing, and choreographing around the Houston Area. She has choreographed for a wide variety of theaters and venues including (but not limited to) The Texas Renaissance Festival, TRF After Dark, and The Players Theatre Company. Recent directing credits include Cabaret (The Players Theatre Company), Dance of the Fey and As You Like It (Haven Arts Theatre).

She is also a professional actress and dancer.  She recently played Montjoy in Henry V (Shakespeare in the Shade) and Texas in Cabaret (artFACTORY). Other memorable roles includ Edith in The Diary of Anne Frank (Main Street Theater) and a Super in Rigoletto (Houston Grand Opera), Daniel in The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged) [Revised].

Founding Executive Director

Jared Alan Barnes is an actor, singer, dancer, director, and fighter.  He majored in Musical Theatre at SHSU and has continued pursuing a career as a professional performing artist since then.

Recent credits include Sweeney Todd (Sweeney Todd) At artFACTORY, As you Like It (Orlando) with Haven Arts Theatre, and Pure Country (World Premiere) with Lyric Stage in Irving.  He has played King Henry VIII, and Hercules at the Texas Renaissance Festival, and Patrick Star at Moody Gardens. Other roles include: El Gallo in The Fantasticks, Jesus in Godspell, and Guido in Nine.

He has also worked as a playwright and songwriter and has directed productions at various venues including LSC–Tomball and The Crighton Theatre. He worked for three years as the shop foreman at LSC–Tomball.  He is also a fight choreographer and stunt performer and teaches Theatre at Covenant Christian School.

God gave us our gifts, it is up to us to use them. We intend to.
